Yes! The parking lot is being paved as we speak!

Brian has been working on the roof of the new Sanctuary.

They have also been working on the roof on the foyer. They are working on the drains on the north and south end of the foyer. This should be at minimum, 80 % completed.

The wall for the new restrooms should be framed.

There is a sample of the light fixtures, which will be used in the New Sanctuary.

All the sidewalk around the new part has been poured. Brian had two small areas left to pour. Concrete is 95 % completed.

Parking Lot: The entire curb has been poured for the parking lot. Brian will meet with sub on paving the parking lot. Brian is shooting for the week of November 26 to pave the lot. The land scape sub is presently working on some of the things he needs to do. The stucco crew has completed installing the wire and is waiting for an inspection sometime today. Brian did not give me a day for the stucco to be done. The insulation is on site. Brian is going install all the banding before he lays the insulation. His plan is to lay the insulation and cover it with the roof metal so he doesn’t get any moisture on the insulation. There is also work being done on the foyer roof.

Frame the east and south. Then start sheeting the east wall. Deck the foyer and finish the metal work on the east wall of the foyer. The metal frames for the door on the west side of the building will also be set. CCB has made the decision to delay work on the fire line and concentrate on getting the building into a dry status. Brian is working with the electrical folk attempting to have all the parking lot lights on for our Light the Night event. This will only be temporary for that night. CCB is working on taking out some of the concrete that cracked in the Sanctuary. .

Changes to the steel in the foyer have been approved. Vertical beams will be corrected today and hope to get some of the cross beams up before the end of the week. The parking lot light poles are to be poured today and plan on have some of them up by Saturday. CCB is still communicating with the Architect on the correction to be made to the Sanctuary.

Bob Moore-Associate Pastor of Youth & Families - Staff @ Restoration

Bob met his beautiful bride Christina while the two were completing their Theology degrees at Christ for the Nations Institute in Dallas, TX. After graduation, they were married and went on to complete their Bachelor's degrees at Dallas Baptist University in Business and Elementary Education. With degrees in hand and twin daughters on the way, they relocated to Christina's hometown here in Colorado Springs to start their family. Bob joins us on staff with over seven years of Christian ministry experience in the areas of children, youth, small groups, men and families. He has a passion for helping families to raise godly, confident children; and see Biblical marriages strengthened and restored for multi-generational influence. He considers it a privilege to serve with the team at Restoration Church.

I have been a member of Restoration Church since 2002. My wife and I first started attending when our daughter Danielle invited us. She was coming to the Restoration Youth Group at the time. We felt welcomed the minute we walked in the door! We have been here ever since. I started playing on the worship team in 2004 and now I lead an awesome group of musicians. Because music is my passion, I feel I have an awesome opportunity to praise and worship God with the gift He has given me. Nothing pleases me more than to lead people into experiencing God through music.

Nurturing women through celebration bringing women closer together in union with Jesus Christ through friendship, community, and self.
Women's Ministry gathers, trains, and encourages women in the building of strong and accountable relationships with other women within and without the body of Restoration Church

Ministry to women happens in 2 intentional ways

First our twice a month Bible study takes women into the heart of the scriptures while providing room for life giving relationships in an intimate environment

Secondly Valley Moms serves mothers of all ages (click on the Valley Moms tab on the home page for more information).

Reaching and serving people is important. We reach OUTWARD in ministry. As a church we want to be internally focused by meeting the needs of those that call Restoration church home BUT we must also be external and reach out to our community.

We are all at different places spiritually but we have one thing in common we all still need to grow. We reach INWARD by focusing on spiritual disciplines, fellowship through small groups and spending quality time with God

Restoration church is a diverse group of people that come together for a common purpose. Our atmosphere is relaxed and come as you are. If you are comfortable in a tie, wear it. If you prefer jeans and a tee shirt – go for it! All are welcome. Our Sunday morning celebrations begin with a time of worship with our 707 worship team. Our worship time varies from contemplative to expressive, we love worshiping God in different ways. We also like to use media and creative arts to make the message of the scriptures come alive. We believe in vibrant relationships and do all that we can to help you connect. We love families and have tons of great opportunities on Sundays for Children Teaching is always an important part of our Sunday Morning gatherings. We want the message of the scriptures to be alive, relevant and vibrant. This year we are taking an approach which our pastor calls an “organic return to the scriptures”. The word “organic” means “derived from a living organism” or food raised without the use of chemicals and preservatives. In other words it is an element in its purist form. We are returning organically by returning to the scriptures in a VERSE BY VERSE format. It is common to pick a topic and then find scripture verse to defend that topic and that is ok, but this year we are starting with the scriptures and letting the scriptures lead us.Our mission is "Restoring People to God" and our process is simple:

I have attended Restoration Church for 12 years. I grew up in the suburbs of Chicago and moved to Colorado in 1972. I am married and have three children. My hobbies are music, camping, fishing and riding my motorcycle. I am a musician and play the keyboards in the Restoration Praise Band and I am also a part of our outreach band. I oversee the sound team and the Sunday service logistics. The sound team is an exciting place to be and we look forward to the training and developement of future members and the growth of the ministry with our new building. The sound team is always looking for people who would like to participate in serving the Lord through this exciting ministry.
